Our parent company, Pennine Chamois Co. Ltd. was formed in 1962 as a producer of top quality Chamois leather, something which it continues to do 48 years on.
In 1970 we opened It's Leather making and retailing our own Leather and Sheepskin garments and also stocking most of the other leading brands of the day. Our shop in Shipley, West Yorkshire has been of the UK's leading Sheepskin and Leather retailers for almost 40 years. In 2005 we went online with It's Leather Shipley.co.uk. The rapid success of our website has encouraged us to close our shop, to commision this new site for the retail side of the business to trade online only.
The main aim of this site is to offer top quality sheepskin and leather garments made to order or ex stock, something we have done since we first opened. It has always been our boast that we will make almost anything, that continues to be our goal. Autumn 2010 will see a new range of Italian leather bags, briefcases, holdalls, purses and wallets by Tony Perotti, Italy, sheepskin slippers by Shepherd of Sweden, superb soft leather fashion bags by Yoshi, a huge range of top quality UK produced Chamois Leather plus an ever increasing range of accessories and gift ideas.

We can also arrange to accept payment by cheque or credit transfer.
